From 12th to 17th November, Berlin became the hosting city of the educational mobility under the NEWDIGISHIP project, part of the Erasmus+ programme (KA2 Action), co-financed by the European Union. The event was a collaborative effort involving participants from organizations: Esquare (France), Klaipédos Universitetas (Lithuania), Esplai Social (Spain), Yenilikçi Girişim Derneği (Turkey), Youth Bridges Budapest (Hungary), Epeka Berlin EV (Germany), and Eurodimensions (Malta), aiming to enhance the grasp of digital entrepreneurship, encourage participatory democracy, innovation, digitization, and youth empowerment.
Week-long Programme Overview
The programme was a combination of diverse and enriching activities aimed at improving both theoretical knowledge and practical insights into digital entrepreneurship. The week started with a welcoming introduction and sessions on digital financing methods at the Schulz Hotel Berliner Mauer, followed by an inspiring visit to Futurium, the house of future. Participants engaged in discussions on digital entrepreneurship, visited entrepreneurial facilities for real-world examples, and explored youth entrepreneurship at the EPEKA Berlin studio. Workshops on the Business Model Canvas allowed for hands-on experience in developing business plans for startups. The agenda also included learning about the digital CV preparation, training for speech presentations, understanding non-formal learning competencies, and information on Erasmus/Youthpass certification. The culmination of the event was marked by a Digital Entrepreneurship Idea Competition and the awarding of Youthpass certificates, celebrating the week's achievements and learning.
